My it's been cold! What ever happened to that Global Warming thing! ha.
The weather was rather good for the hunters this season. No, I didn't get the sure enough monstor trophy this year but I did get a couple of nice eight pointers. I had a good season! I don't know about you, but there is nothing that I enjoy more than being in the outdoors mingling with all the critters that roam the woods. That's a true blessing in itself for me.

We hope that you had a blessed holiday season and trust that this new year will bring you blessings from the Lord that you can't contain.
As we enter the dawning of a new year, only God knows what lies ahead for us. But we know and trust that if he brings us to it, he will bring us through it! I'm not trying to take the scripture out of text, but I love to read where it says, "And it came to pass". Sometimes it may seem like the world is on our shoulders, but rest assured, it will pass. Yes, hardships will come, and hardships will go, but Jesus said that he would never leave us nor forsake us. Just as God spared his people in the land of Goshen from the plagues of Egypt, so will he deliver his people that are called by his name from the hand of satan. If God be for us, who can be against us?

I love to sing that song, "I'm Still Drinking From My Saucer, cause my cup has overflowed". Thank God for all His blessings on me. He's been good to me! What about you?

Speaking of pouring out of blessings, wow! what a revival spirit that we have been having in our church services. Have you ever been to the place where you wouldn't dare miss church for fear that you would miss something from God. Well, that's the way it's been. Seems like the Lord is filling up our spiritual tanks and giving us strength to withstand what may be lurking out on the horizon. Jesus said that we were in this world but we are not of this world. He also told us to be of good cheer for he has overcome the world.
So let me encourage you Brother and Sister to hang on, for we have nothing to lose but everything to gain. Read the back of the book!
